City officials continue to monitor the COVID-19 health crisis. In consultation with Public Health officials, we have closed all parks, Wood Therapeutic Activity Center, Olde Towne Depot and the Visitor Center to the public. All City events scheduled  to take place prior to April 20 have been cancelled.

Closures and cancellations related to the COVID -19 public health crisis:

  • CANCELED: Reading Railroad
  • CANCELED: Olde Towne Rail Club Quarterly Meeting
  • CANCELED: Main Street Clinton's Just the Girls in March & April
  • CANCELED: Main Street Clinton's Olde Towne After Dark in March & April
  • CANCELED: Friday Nights at Milepost 89 in March & April
  • CANCELED: NJCAA Softball National Championship, originally scheduled for May 20-23
  • POSTPONED: Tabletop Day (will be rescheduled at a later date)
  • POSTPONED: Mayor's Golf Tournament, originally scheduled for April 17 (will be rescheduled at a later date)
  • CEASED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE: Fingerprinting services at Clinton Police Department
  • CLOSED: All parks, Olde Towne Depot, Wood Activity Center, and Visitor Center closed until April 20, 2020

City Hall and all departments will be open for business to serve residents via phone (601-924-5474) and email. Please call before visiting our offices.

Please visit clintonms.org/covid19 to stay up to date on closures and rescheduling of events. On April 20, 2020, City officials will be taking the recommendations of the State Health Department to determine extensions of the closures. The City of Clinton is taking these precautions for the safety of our community.

We encourage all of our residents to closely monitor and follow the instructions from Public Health officials in regards to COVID-19.
