The Clinton Chamber of Commerce is financed primarily by the investment of its members. The maintenance of an adequate level of support from all business and professional interests in the community is essential to finance the programs that are vital to community growth and development. The Chamber is organized as a not-for-profit business organization under Internal Revenue Code 501(c)(6).

Although the Chamber is not a City department, the City of Clinton provides program support and financial support as approved annually by the Board of Aldermen.
